Veluwe Down South
Down South – Veluwe Gravel Ride
From Zwolle to Utrecht. 150 km of pure Dutch gravel.
This event is a special collaboration between MAAP and Maats – a celebration of our strong partnership and a way to bring our communities together on the bike.
On Saturday, October 18th we’re teaming up with MAAP for a unique gravel adventure: Down South.
We’ll start at Ride Fast Bike Shop (near Zwolle), meeting at 10:00 for coffee. At 10:30 we roll out for a 150 km gravel ride straight across the most beautiful gravel roads of the Veluwe, from north to south.
Along the way there will be two support stops:

±50 km: stop at the MAAP bus

±110 km: lunch stop at De Proloog in Amerongen
All riders will be divided into groups of 4–6, and these groups will compete against each other on several timed Strava segments. There are prizes for the fastest man, woman, and group, so you can enjoy the ride while still unleashing your competitive side.
We’ll finish at Maats Utrecht, where we’ll celebrate together with a well-deserved beer. 🍺
