Let's Ride

Ride Reports

Events & rides have played an important role within Maats since day one. It is the perfect way to get to know new people and discover new routes in an accessible way. Events have proven to be the perfect tool for building the Maats community of which we are extremely proud. Our events consist of monthly social rides, gravel events, trips abroad and sometimes even a race. We have organized many different rides and events over the years. These events consist of Sunday social rides, gravel events, cycling trips abroad and sometimes even a race. We wrote a ride report of the most special Maats events. With this we hope to inspire you to go out on your bike and discover new routes.

Cross Clash

January 2024

Sometimes we organize events just because we are in love with the subject, for example Cyclocross. If you zoom in to cycling in general, with all its different disciplines, cyclocross is probably one of the most inaccessible. You need a special bike, it is difficult to train/practice and it often looks 'tricky' on TV. On the other hand: Cyclocross is amazing and absolutley worth trying! That is why we came with the idea to organise an accessible cyclocross event: Cross Clash. We joined forces with Rapha Amsterdam and orgnanised our first CX race.

When Maats friend from the first hour Simon Rosmolen invited us for a fully catered five-day stay in the French Alps, we didn't have to give it a second thought. We invited ten of our best customers to France, and off we went on an unforgettable trip.
