404 km off-road challenge | In collaboration with Albion
Set your alarm early. Really early. On Sunday, August 24, we’ll roll out at sunrise from Maats Utrecht for a one-of-a-kind ride: 404 kilometers to Düsseldorf and back. This is not your average ride — we’ll take unpaved trails, gravel roads, and forgotten farm paths all the way to the legendary Schicke Mütze for a well-earned lunch, before turning around and heading straight back to Utrecht.
We’re calling it Error 404: Not Found for a reason. Along the way, you’ll likely lose the trail, lose the plot, and maybe lose your mind. But you’ll also find something: resilience, connection, and a shared sense of adventure. Which is exactly what Albion is all about.
This isn’t a race. It’s a journey. A physical and mental challenge, an ode to getting lost and finding your way back. A ride for those who value adventure over performance and connection over competition. That’s the spirit of Albion.
Note: This is not a beginner’s ride. Strong fitness, a well-prepared gravel bike, and a healthy dose of grinta are required. Included in your ticket: Coffee before the start, Lunch at Schicke Muze (205 km), Support by Maats Spinter, cold beer at the finish.
