When the days start to get shorter and colder, it's time for long cycling bib tights. In the past years we have worked together with our Italian producer on the development of the Maats Bib Tights. This newest version of our cycling bib tights are the winter variant of the successful Maats Bib Shorts.

We have used the same high-quality chamois that customers are very enthusiastic about. The tights are made of a lined Thermoroubaix fabric that ensures that you stay warm in the coldest conditions. The tights have a Durable Water Repellent coating that allows droplets and dirt to bead off the tights.

  • Temperature range: 15°C to -5°C.
  • Water-repellent DWR coating
  • Reflective strips on the pants for sufficient visibility
  • Subtly reflective Maats logo on both thighs
  • Silicone grippers on bottom of pants
  • Made from premium Thermoroubaix fabric

      Comfortable padding and warm fabric

      The fabric is warm. I tested these by riding in +2 deg temp and my knees got a bit cold after 1 hour of riding but overal legs stayed warm.
      The seat padding is very comfortable and it's all in the right places.

      When Maats Cycling Culture started off, there was one clear goal: finding the coolest cycling clothing of the world, and make it available in the Netherlands and beyond. Throughout our quest, we found out that there already are many amazing brands out there, but there's still much to explore. This is why Maats decided, next to selling existing brands, to design and produce its own brand apparel as well!

While in former times people tended to show poor taste by wearing jerseys plastered with brand names and logos from pro teams, a growing group of riders chooses to distinguish itself on the bike by wearing unique and cool cycling clothering. Quality, however, is the most important thing. That's why Maats strives to find the perfect combination of awesome designs and exquisite quality. Because we believe that this can be achieved close to home, we both design and produce our clothing in Europe.

      The all-new Maats Thermal Longsleeve Jersey is made from a MITI mid-weight 230 gr/m2 fabric, with micro-fleeced lining giving you comfort on cold days on the bike. The Italian fabric has been coated with a DWR (water-repellent coating), and is perfect to ride in temperatures from 5 to 15 degrees Celsius. The backpockets are deep enough to store your mid-ride snacks and an extra hidden zipped pocket creates a safe space for your key or cash money.

      We started Maats in 2017 and soon after our opening we released the first Amsterdam cycling jersey. This jersey is an ode to the city of Amsterdam and was an instant classic. You can no longer cycle around the Amsterdam region without coming across a Maats XXX jersey. But you can also see this jersey more and more far outside the capital.

      Despite the fact that this cycling jersey has been part of our collection for a long time, we continue to develop this jersey and make a number of improvements every season. This season we switched production to top notch supplier LTP and improved the Amsterdam jersey to another level. Therefore we can rightly say that this is the 2.0 version of a classic.

      The jersey has a sporty fit (not an extreme race fit) and the sizing is in line with the Northern European sizing. This model is 183 cm and wears size M.

      • Made of elastic and moisture-wicking material
      • Featuring Amsterdam’s iconic Andreas crosses (one on the chest and two on the back)

      I feel like one of the X-Men wearing this jersey - I love it!
      This jersey does run on the small-ish side - I am generally a Medium (even in race-fit jerseys) but wear a Large in this jersey.
