One of the first things you notice in the toolboxes of top level motorsport or Pro-Tour mechanics are extremely high quality hex keys. The reasoning is simple; better tool fit leads to better feel and confidence for the mechanic as well as a significant reduction in the likelihood of damaging exotic fasteners made from Titanium or Aluminum. For the HX-ONE, we use the finest S2 tool steel; a shock resistant steel which has been refined by toolmakers for the optimal balance of strength, hardness, shock resistance and dimensional control. The keys are then coated with thin-dense chrome and a high-grip, high-visibility textured polymer finish for maximum grip and control. Included with the HX-ONE ESSENTIAL KIT is the proprietary SILCA 17-4 Stainless Magnetic Adapter. The adapter turns the 6mm hex key into a ¼” bit driver.

The lightweight option for when you need a few more tools for your roadside repair. Don't get stuck on the side of the road or trail because you didn't have the right tool for your repair.

The mid-length tool design is long enough to provide access to recessed fasteners, but short enough not to experience twist or damage under moderate torque as can happen on longer tools. All tools are forged rather than bent from hex stock. While this method of construction is more expensive, the value is unquestioned during a road-side repair. Mid-length tools also allow us to position the tools within the same plane, reducing the thickness of the overall package by half. Double chromed tools and fully stainless steel hardware and bushings guarantee a long life without corrosion (the number 1 killer of multi-tools is corrosion). Forged aluminum sidebars contain rare-earth magnets for holding a spare chain connector.

De rits is op een handige manier geplaatst zodat je er tijdens het fietsen bij kan.
