We tested this product ourselves on a bicycle trip from Barcelona to Girona and back. Both days it was 8 degrees in the morning and 17 degrees in the afternoon and we have never been too cold or too hot. Totally recommended in combination with a nice gilet that you can take off when it rises above 13 degrees. You can also roll up the flexible sleeves up to your elbow if it gets too hot.

If it gets too warm for you, you can always fold the gilet compactly and stow it away in the back pocket of your cycling jersey. The double zipper makes it easy to reach the things in your back pockets and the different color options make you stand out in traffic.
