Alba Optics x Maats: WEEKENDER

As you may know, Maats is home to independent, unique brands within cycling and Alba Optics is one of them. Its story began with the search for an original mould as their goal was to find a frame that was designed and produced in Italy during the 80s and bring it to life using new technologies, resulting in their first model: the Delta. 

Alba Optics always believed in a different type of activity, one that does not speak of performance and results but speaks of the quality of life. Their goal is not to finish first, but to get wherever you want, in any condition. And Maats fully supports this idea. 

Maats and Alba Optics have been partners for years and we thought now is a perfect moment to celebrate our partnership. We proudly announce that Pier Giorgio, one of the founders, will come to the Netherlands to celebrate our partnership with a ride in both Amsterdam and Rotterdam with some drinks after!

Let's connect the Cycling Culture between Amsterdam - Utrecht - Rotterdam, dedicating an epic ride to all 3 Maats stores. On Sunday, May 11th, we'll organize a big epic ride where all three of our shops will 'serve' as stops along the way! 

Choose your starting point: Maats Amsterdam, Maats Utrecht, or Maats Rotterdam. All three groups roll out at 09:30 and follow a ~190 km route that takes you past every Maats store along the way.

Coffee is ready from 09:00 at all three locations, and when you arrive at each store during the route, some snacks and fresh drinks and warm coffee will be waiting for you to refuel.

After the ride, we’ll wrap up with cold beers and soft drinks — because after 190 km, you’ve earned it! 

Sign up via the booking tool — we’ll send the final details and route file to all registered riders in the days before the event. Registration is required.
