KASK x Mental Athletic Utopia Y WG11 Sharp Draft
The KASK Utopia Y, presented here in collaboration with Mental Athletic, is an aerodynamic road cycling helmet developed to balance speed, ventilation and comfort. Building on the original Utopia, the updated design refines the helmet’s aerodynamic profile while maintaining airflow for demanding efforts on the road.
Designed for road racing and fast-paced riding, the Utopia Y combines a streamlined shape with an adjustable retention system and moisture-managing padding. Reflective graphics add visibility, while the fit system helps keep the helmet stable and secure throughout the ride.
Aerodynamics and ventilation
The HYVENT structure is designed to encourage airflow through the helmet and help regulate temperature around the head. This balance of aerodynamic efficiency and ventilation makes the Utopia Y suitable for both road racing and triathlon.
Fit and comfort
The OCTOFIT+ adjustment system features a rubberised dial for improved grip, a redesigned vertical stabiliser for enhanced stability and an ergonomic neck support. Resistex Carbon padding helps move moisture away from the head towards the outer shell, supporting comfort during sustained efforts.
WG11 safety testing
The Utopia Y is developed in line with KASK’s WG11 rotational impact testing protocol and meets the EN 1078 cycling helmet standard. Reflective graphics on the outer shell provide an additional visibility detail.
