The Heavy Gilet is perfect for this kind of ride. This product protects you against wind and water and ensures that your core stays warm and dry.

The outer layer has a DWR coating and ensures that the gilet is windproof and water-repellent. The inner layer is made of hexagonal membrane and ensures that the jacket breathes well. The waistcoat is easily foldable and therefore easy to store. The double zipper provides good temperature regulation and access to your back pockets.

I was already a proud owner of the Maats regular gilet, but I was looking to add something slightly more heavy-duty-esque to my collection, and this perfectly did the trick!

Heel fijn wind- en waterdicht gilet met goede pasvorm. Makkelijk op te bergen als het te warm wordt. Handige rits die je je van onder (-en boven) open kan maken, om wat in de zakken van je shirt te doen. Aanrader!

Doordat dit jack wind en waterdicht is, is ie behoorlijk warm in september.

Heerlijk mee door de bergen gefietst met extra armstukken - kan ik in de Herfst thuis ook nog goed gebruiken.

Yorkshire-proof

I purchased this whilst visiting from the UK, it stands up well to our changing weather.
The shape and fit is great for my broad build in XL size (my usual). The colour looks great in sand too, especially with small reflective details.

Great jacket!

Absolutely great jacket, the double zipper is a game-changer.
For most brands, an L fits me perfectly at 1.90 and 86 KGs. However, since the jacket is supposed to serve as my most-outer layer on temperatures as low as 0 degrees, I've gone for an XL after trying both on in the store. It's incredibly comfy but I can see why others might go for the L for a more race-style fit. The guys in the store are more than happy to help you out with making this call though!
