Sundays are for riding, discovering new routes and meeting new friends. Maats has got you covered! On this page you'll find the rides we host from our store in Amsterdam.
How does it work?
We organize our socials rides for our customers and to introduce new people to Maats and the brands we sell.
Our Sunday Social Rides are between 60 and 80 km. The route will be sent to you in advance via a ride briefing by email. Depending on the number of participants, you can choose from different groups with varying speeds. There will always be a group riding at a social pace, averaging between 28-30 km/h.
What is the level?
Although we love all cyclists, our rides are not for absolute beginners. If you register for our rides, we expect you to be able to ride at least 28 km/h in a group for a minimum of 2+ hours. Experience with group rides is a plus but not a requirement.

The Maats Pizza rides are back! Once a month nwe organise a Maats x Pizza ride in Amsterdam. We invite you to this open groupride of about 45-55k, after which you can enjoy a delicious pizza and an ice cold beer on your return.

- 18:15 gathering at Maats
- 18:45 departure in groups for a relaxed ride of 45-55 km
- Approx 28 km/h avarage speed, which means riding speed between 28 and 32km/h.
- On return at Maats some delicious pizza and two drinks will be waiting for you
- Costs €20 per person
- Ticket required
