Opened in spring 2025, our newest store brings Maats to Rotterdam. This marks an exciting new chapter in our journey, one that began back in 2017. With three stores and an ever-growing community, we're more inspired than ever to expand our impact on the cycling world.

What will you find in our store?
What can you expect in our store?At Maats Rotterdam, you'll find a curated selection of premium cycling apparel from top brands like Pas Normal Studios, MAAP, Rapha, Café du Cycliste, Albion, Canvas, and of course, our own label: Maats.
But we offer more than just apparel — browse our range of helmets, cycling glasses, bike computers, tools, cleaning products, inner tubes, and on-the-go cycling nutrition.
Planning an adventure? Discover our extensive Apidura collection, ideal for everything from quick local rides to multi-day bikepacking trips.
Swing by for one of our events, enjoy a great cup of coffee and a slice of cake, or catch live cycling races on screen in-store.

Our location in RotterdamYou’ll find us in the heart of Rotterdam, on the lively Hoogstraat — just a stone’s throw from the iconic Markthal and the bustling Binnenrotte.
The best way to visit Maats Rotterdam? By bike, of course. There’s plenty of space inside to park or hang your bike safely while you shop.
Coming by public transport? The store is just a short walk from Rotterdam Blaak station, which is served by trains, metro and trams.
If you're arriving by car, you can park in the nearby Kiphof or Markthal parking garages — both just a few minutes’ walk from the store. There’s also ample on-street parking available in the streets surrounding the shop.

Meet the Maats Rotterdam teamStep into Maats Rotterdam and there’s a good chance you’ll be greeted by Jochem and/or Noa.
Storemanager Jochem is a true local with years of retail experience and a deep love for cycling. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just getting started, he’s always happy to help you find the perfect gear.
Noa has been part of the Maats crew for several years and recently made the move to Rotterdam. She knows our collection inside out and can give you expert advice on everything from kit choices to accessories.
Need help? Just ask — and while you’re at it, enjoy a great cup of coffee freshly brewed by Jochem or Noa.
Rides & Events
At Maats, we’re all about riding together and building community — and our Rotterdam store is no exception. From social rides to gravel adventures, coffee rides and special brand events, there’s always something happening.
We regularly host group rides that start and finish at the store, exploring the hidden gems in and around the Rotterdam area — from the green polders of Midden-Delfland to the coastal roads near Hoek van Holland.

The most magical place was without a doubt the Dolomites. But I can also really fully enjoy South Limburg!

De Maats Long Sleeve Jersey. The fabric is super soft and the fit is perfect for me.
