Travel options
Tuscany is about 1500km from the Netherlands, which gives you the choice to, for instance, team up with others and organize your own trip by car down to Italy.
Otherwise, there are several flight options to either Florence (closer) or Pisa airport, from where you can take a train to Siena. We're happy to pick you up from there. We will share flight options as a suggestion so you can travel as a group.
We offer to bring your bike for you exclusively on the Maats Sprinter. This service is included in the price.

The rides
This trip includes five organized day rides, carefully curated by knowledgeable route makers who have experience in riding in this area. The routes contain the iconic gravel stretches that this area is famous for. Of course, you will have the opportunity to ride the full Strade route as the Queen Stage.
Daily routes will vary from 80-100km with around 1000m of climbing. We ride together in one or two groups, and we'll do enough stops during the ride. For each route, a shortcut option is available.
The area is perfect for riding on either a gravel or a road bike, so the choice is up to you.

The venue
Tuscany offers multiple villas located peacefully in the pristine rolling hills that are typical to this area. In September 2025, we are staying in a beautiful countryside private villa in Monteroni d'Arbia, about 20km south of Siena. This villa has space for up to 16 people to stay. The villa offers twin rooms (separate beds) and is equiped with multiple bathrooms to ensure a comfortable stay. You can indicate a preferred roommate.
When we're not out cycling, you can enjoy a vast garden with a swimming pool. There's a big kitchen which we can use during our stay - here we'll provide a daily self-service breakfast buffet, and there will be drinks and snacks available all week. During four nights, we'll cook a nice dinner for you (volunteer for cooking if you like!).
