Social rides, trips abroad, spring classics — but as summer draws to a close, it's time to settle the score. Who gets to call themselves the Maats Membership Champ (m/v) of the 2026?
Introducing the first official Maats Membership Championship.
We're hosting it at one of the most iconic venues in Dutch cycling: the Col du Vam. Tucked away in the Groningen countryside, this legendary velodrome is a cult institution — a steep wooden track where the atmosphere is unlike anything you'll find on the road. The venue has hosted the Dutch National Championship on multiple occasions, so it's a proven championship course. The perfect setting to find out who's been putting in the work.
We gather Sunday morning at 10:00 for coffee and a social group ride of around 75km around the area. After returning to the Col du Vam, we take to the track for a few laps to decide once and for all who takes the title.
After the racing, we celebrate with a BBQ, beers, and an official prize ceremony.
This event is open to all members — whether you're here to race, to ride, or just to cheer on the competition, you're more than welcome.
