Start and Finish: Maats Amsterdam

January is the month of the Winter Resolution Challenge from Pas Normal Studios, a Strava initiative that challenges you to ride at least 1250 km in the first month of the year. On the last Sunday of this month, we organize a long ride to boost your monthly total and achieve your goals.

Everyone around Amsterdam has heard of it or rode it before: the famous and notorious Markermeer loop, a route of approximately 160 km all day along the waterfront. It is a simple route where the only thing you have to think about is whether you are going to take it clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on the wind that day. You can find the route here.

We gather at 08:30h at Maats for coffee. After the ride briefing, we divide everyone into smaller groups for departure. There is a support van that rides with the groups, in which you can put some personal belongings (like food or extra clothing) during the stops. The van can also support you in case of mechanical problems.

Pas Normal Studios brand ambassadors Rik and Emmy will join us for the ride.

• 160 km loop with coffee/food stop halfway (own expense)
• Avarage speed between 28 and 32 km/h, no-drop policy
• 25 spots available
